But she needn’t be concerned – I loved the watch as soon as I opened the box.
While I am not that much into watches, I do like to have one on my wrist when I leave home. Not given to the latest fashion trends, or expensive jewellery for that matter, I prefer a practical and functional timepiece that will tell me the time with accuracy and perhaps the day and date. As such, I own just a couple of decent-looking watches for everyday wear.
My mom’s gift was actually a welcome addition to my small watch collection – it looked awesome on my wrist. In fact, the Anne Klein Quartz was a stylish and elegant timepiece that would go well with any of my outfits. It could be worn for special occasions too.
I loved the two-toned gold and silver hues of this very pretty timepiece. The two-tone alloy bracelet with a dainty jewellery clasp holds this piece together. My wrists are rather small so had to get a couple of links removed for a comfortable fit.
Like all Anne Klein timepieces, the 1931SVTT is powered by a Japanese quartz movement. The silver-white dial gives the watch an elegant look. There is a single diamond positioned as the 12 o’clock hour marker. The three-hand analog display ensures you read the time at a glance.
The Anne Klein 1931SVTT is a pretty but simple watch that doesn’t have many features. Water resistance is limited to just 30m. I would have to be careful wearing this one around water, although the occasional splashes wouldn’t be a problem.
